60 min $110 · 90 min $155
Book this serviceWhat it is
Swedish massage uses long gliding strokes, gentle kneading, and rhythmic pressure to move blood and lymph, warm the tissue, and pull you out of a stress response. It is the session to book when you are wound tight, sleeping badly, or simply overdue for an hour where nothing is asked of you.
How the session runs
- 01
Intake and pressure baseline
We talk through stress levels, sleep, and any areas to avoid, then agree on a pressure baseline before you get on the table.
- 02
Warming the tissue
Broad, oiled strokes over the back, shoulders, and legs bring blood to the surface and let the muscles let go.
- 03
Flow and focus
Once you soften, more time is spent on wherever tension is concentrated — usually neck, shoulders, and low back.
- 04
Close and aftercare
The session finishes with slow, quiet strokes, then water and simple aftercare so the calm lasts past the door.
Benefits
What swedish massage does for you
Lower stress hormones
Sustained, predictable touch moves you from fight-or-flight into a parasympathetic state, where heart rate and breathing slow on their own.
Deeper, easier sleep
Clients routinely report their best night of sleep in weeks after a session — especially with the 90-minute format.
Better circulation
Strokes are directed toward the heart to encourage blood flow and lymphatic drainage through tired tissue.
Everyday tension relief
Neck, shoulder, and low-back tightness from desk work eases without the intensity of deep tissue pressure.
Mental reset
A quiet, low-light room, no phone, no small talk unless you want it — one full hour with nothing to manage.
A safe starting point
If you have never had bodywork, this is the gentlest introduction. We can always add focused work as you get comfortable.
In their words
Clients on this session
“Professional from the first message to the last minute of the session. Easy to book, on time, clean room, and real therapeutic work rather than a spa routine. My lower back has been an issue for years and the deep tissue session gave me more relief than a month of stretching.”
“I booked a 90 minute Swedish just to decompress and ended up rebooking before I left. Warm, respectful, and truly skilled — you can tell this is someone who has been doing this a long time. The whole experience feels far more expensive than it is.”
Questions
Swedish Massage FAQ
- Will Swedish massage feel too light?
- It is gentler than deep tissue, but pressure is still yours to set. Many clients ask for medium pressure within a Swedish framework, and we adjust as we go.
- 60 or 90 minutes?
- 60 minutes covers full body at a good pace. 90 minutes lets the nervous system fully settle and leaves time to linger on the neck, shoulders, and feet.
- Do I have to undress fully?
- No. You undress to your comfort level in private and stay professionally draped the whole time — only the area being worked on is uncovered.
- How often should I come in?
- For stress management, every two to four weeks keeps you ahead of it. There is never pressure to rebook on the spot.
