Policies
How appointments work here
Clear, human policies so nothing about your visit is a surprise. Questions about any of this? Call (346) 446-8931 or send a note through the contact page.
- Cancellations & rescheduling
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment so the time can be offered to someone else. Inside 24 hours, the session may be charged in full. Use the link in your confirmation email or call and I will always work with you when something genuinely unavoidable happens.
- Late arrivals
- Sessions end at their scheduled time so the next client is not delayed. Arriving late shortens the hands-on portion rather than the booking. If you are running behind, call and I will use every minute available.
- Health & hygiene
- Linens, bolsters, and face cradle covers are changed for every client and the room is wiped down between sessions. Please reschedule if you have a fever, an active infection, or a contagious skin condition — there is no penalty for staying home when you are unwell.
- Consent & comfort
- You are draped at all times and only the area being worked is uncovered. Pressure, positioning, music, lighting, and conversation are yours to set, and you can adjust or stop the session at any point without explanation. Work is trauma-informed and nothing happens without a heads-up first.
- Medical conditions & medications
- Please disclose pregnancy, recent surgery, blood thinners, cardiovascular conditions, or acute injury on your intake form. Massage is not a substitute for medical care, and in some cases I will ask for clearance from your physician before deep work.
- Gift cards
- Gift certificates never expire and can be applied to any service or session length. Balances are transferable but not redeemable for cash.
- Payment
- Card payments are accepted online at booking or in the studio, along with cash and major digital wallets. Prices are per session length — hot towels, stretching, and aftercare are included, never billed as add-ons.
- Privacy
- Intake details and session notes are kept confidential and used only to plan your care. Contact information is used for appointment communication and is never sold or shared.
