Book a treatment sessionWhat it is
FST (Fascial Stretch Therapy) is table-based, therapist-led stretching that targets the fascia surrounding joints and muscle groups rather than a single muscle. Gentle traction opens the joint, the stretch follows your breath in a slow wave, and because someone else stabilises and paces it, you relax into positions you cannot hold on your own.
How the session runs
- 01
Range assessment
We measure where your movement stops and what is limiting it — tissue, joint, or guarding.
- 02
Warm and stabilise
Light warming work and strapping stabilise the segment so the stretch lands where intended.
- 03
FST sequence
Traction and wave-like stretch through hips, spine, shoulders, and legs, paced with your breath.
- 04
Re-check and aftercare
We re-test the original limits so you can feel the change, then set your maintenance drills.
Benefits
What fst — fascial stretch therapy does for you
Range that holds
Stretching the fascial net rather than a single muscle produces changes that last past the session.
Traction for the joints
Gentle decompression at the hip and shoulder gives the joint space to move cleanly through range.
Low soreness, high return
A strong option in weeks where deep tissue work would leave you too sore to train.
Breath-paced and calm
Each stretch follows your exhale, so the nervous system releases instead of guarding.
Whole-chain approach
We follow the restriction along the chain — hamstring to hip to low back — rather than treating one spot.
Homework that fits
You leave with the two drills that maintain the range we gained, keyed to your schedule.
In their words
Clients on this session
“Best sports recovery work in Houston, full stop. My hip flexors were wrecked from marathon training and nothing I was doing on my own touched it. The assisted stretch work made an immediate difference — I ran the next morning without the pull I'd had for weeks. He also gave me two mobility drills to keep between sessions, which I appreciated.”
“Trigger point work on my shoulder and jaw took away headaches I'd been living with for months. He found the source instead of just working the area that hurt, and explained what he was doing as he went so I understood why. Highly recommend if you have pain nobody else has been able to explain.”
Questions
FST — Fascial Stretch Therapy FAQ
- Do I need to be flexible already?
- No. This work is for people who are not — every stretch is scaled to your current range.
- What should I wear?
- Athletic clothing you can move in. Sessions are clothed, no oil.
- Will I be sore after?
- Usually far less than after deep tissue work. Mild tenderness the next day is normal.
- How often for real change?
- Weekly to every other week for the first month produces the clearest gains, then monthly maintenance.
